Cases that shipped, got implanted and got billed, where the purchase order never showed up and the paper trail went quiet. Syntra puts every case, its PO status and the dollars at risk on one board your team works from the field until the money lands.
Syntra is purpose-built software for surgical device distributorships. Log surgical cases in seconds, compute commissions automatically, and chase every dollar that's unbilled or missing a purchase order — from any device your reps carry.
Most distributorships still run on paper case sheets and end-of-month spreadsheets. Cases go unbilled, POs go missing, and nobody notices until the commission check comes up short. Syntra puts the whole flow — case, PO, invoice, payment — in one system your team can run from the field.
Multi-tenant SaaS — each distributorship gets its own secure workspace. Commercial case data only.

Monthly commission ($k), this year vs. prior year, with year-end projection. Product mockup with illustrative data.
Cases are logged by case number, facility, surgeon, and procedure. Use commercial case details only. Review notes and documents before submitting; automatic checks do not replace your review.
Vendor percentages and rep tiers are applied the moment a case is logged. Every rep sees the same math.
Every case that's missing a PO or sitting unbilled, ranked by age and dollars — so your team chases revenue before it's written off.
Month-to-date and year-to-date against prior year, with projections — the state of the business at a glance.
An installable app on phone, tablet, and desktop. Reps log cases from the facility parking lot, not from memory on Friday.
Case date, facility, surgeon, vendor line, billed amount, PO status, rep. Any format, from whatever you run cases in today.
The subscription
Syntra is a subscription, not a project. Your own secure workspace, your whole book inside it, and your team working the same board from wherever they are. Setup is done with you, not handed over as a login and a manual.
Upload the case log you already keep, Excel or CSV, in whatever shape it comes out. We map the columns and check your rates, and within 2 to 4 business days your workspace opens with your real cases in it instead of sample data.
Every case missing a purchase order or sitting unbilled, ranked by dollars and by age.
Reps log cases from the facility on a phone and the board moves. Nobody reconstructs the month from memory on the last Friday.
Purchase orders get chased while they are still easy to collect, and commission gets paid on what was actually earned.
Included in every workspace
No modules to buy, no per-case fee, no minimum book size. The subscription is the whole product — one price, published below.
Pricing
You should not have to sit through a call to find out what software costs. Here it is.
The subscription
$649/ month
Two users included. Your whole case book and unlimited cases. QuickBooks is an optional add-on.
Or pay yearly and take 15% off the whole plan — the base works out at $6,619.80 a year, and the same discount comes off twelve months of every extra user ($499.80 a year each) and of the QuickBooks connection. One invoice, renewing every twelve months. Add a user mid‑year and you pay only the months left in the term.
Optional add-on
$349/ month
The QuickBooks connection, for distributorships that keep their books in QuickBooks.
How you start
Sign up and pay the first month; your card is saved for monthly billing. A short setup then asks for your manufacturers and the commission you earn from each, your reps and their splits, who on your team needs a login, and, if you want your history in Syntra, the case log you already keep in Excel or CSV. Submit it, and we load your book and check the rates.
The clock starts when you submit the setup, and the page shows you the exact dates. If your workspace isn’t live before the 5th business day, the first month comes off your next invoice. Rather talk it through first? Book a meeting and we’ll walk you through it.
A distributorship with four people on the app and the QuickBooks connection pays $1,096 a month on the monthly term: $649, plus two extra users at $49, plus the $349 add-on.
Not the write-offs your accountant books. The ones nobody books at all. Three ways to find out what yours is.
Choose billed revenue and distributor commission assumptions to explore a hypothetical annual amount. The result does not identify unpaid cases.
Run the chase number estimator →Read the formula, see a worked example and prepare commercial case records for review.
The chase number workup →Bring the case export you already have. We load it with you on a screen share, and you watch your own chase number resolve, case by case, with facilities and dollars attached.
Book a working session →The analyst and chief of staff who lives inside the app. Ask him about your book and he answers from your own records: with figures grounded in your records and calculations. Review important conclusions against their source cases.
He reads your records and never changes them, and is designed for de-identified business records.
Syntra needs JavaScript to talk. You can still book a meeting.
"I spent 16 years in healthcare finance — building the budgets, building the reports, and using them to make the call. Syntra is that experience, pointed at your numbers."
Syntra Health Analytics is led by a healthcare finance professional with 16 years across financial reporting, budgeting, service-line and profitability analysis, and decision support. The through-line of that career is turning messy healthcare data into clear answers leaders can act on — and that is what Syntra does for a distributorship's cases and commissions.

Syntra is case and commission software for surgical device distributorships. Reps log surgical cases in seconds (use commercial case details only), net revenue and rep cuts are computed from your vendor and rep rates the moment a case is logged, and a chase board surfaces every case that is unbilled or missing a purchase order. Dashboards show month-to-date and year-to-date against prior year, with projections, and it installs on any device. See the live demo, or book a meeting for a walkthrough.
The estimator models how much annual distributor commission would remain uncollected under the assumptions you choose. Its starting values are hypothetical examples. It hasn't reviewed your cases, and a missing purchase order does not by itself mean a loss. Explore the scenario or read the workup.
Independent surgical device distributorships, roughly 3 to 25 reps — ortho, spine, trauma, extremities, biologics, on commission or buy-and-resell. Not manufacturers: the economics run the other way round.
A spreadsheet records what happened. It does not tell you what is still owed, and it never chases anything. The difference owners feel first is the chase board: every case missing a purchase order, ranked by dollars and by age, oldest first, moving as the team works it. You do not have to abandon the spreadsheet either — loading it is the first thing we do.
$649 a month, with two users included and $49 a month for each user after that; each email address is one user. Or pay yearly and take 15% off the whole plan — the base works out at $6,619.80 a year, and the same discount comes off twelve months of any extra users and of the QuickBooks connection, all on one invoice renewing every twelve months; you pick the term when you start. A QuickBooks connection is an optional add-on at $349 a month; skip it and you pay nothing for it. There's no implementation fee. No per-case fee, no minimum book size, and on monthly you can cancel any time, so the price doesn't move when you have a busy month. The full breakdown is here, and the live demo is free and needs no call.
No. There’s no setup or implementation fee, for any customer. You sign up and pay the first month, then a short setup asks for your manufacturers and commission rates, your reps and their splits, who needs a login, and, if you want it loaded, the case log you already keep in Excel or CSV. Once you submit it we load your history and check your rates, and your workspace is live within 2 to 4 business days. If it isn’t live before the 5th business day, your first month is credited.
We don't know from a website visit. Start with your invoices, receipts and unresolved cases; the estimator only shows what your selected assumptions imply.
One export, any format, from whatever you run cases in today. Five columns have to be in it: surgery date, surgeon, facility, vendor and the case amount. Rep, net revenue, rep cut and PO number are all optional — leave the money columns blank and Syntra computes them from your vendor and rep rates. If your headers are named strangely, mapping them is our problem, not yours. Review every file before submitting it. Do not include patient names, MRNs, dates of birth or member IDs; automated checks do not replace your review.
We do, with you. You start the subscription yourself — that part takes a minute — and then we load your first export on a screen share, mapping your columns together, so the first time you work in the app it already has your own cases in it. The import shows you what it will do before it writes anything, and the file either lands whole or not at all. After that you are adding cases, not configuring software.
Most of it does not stick. The import previews before it writes anything, and the whole file either lands or none of it does. It flags a row that matches a case you already have — same date, surgeon, vendor and amount — and will not save it unless you tell it to. A deleted case is archived rather than erased, and it comes back. And every change anyone makes is in the Activity log with the old value beside the new one.
Open the live demo — the real app on a sample book, read-only — or book a 30-minute call and we start from your own case export.
Logging a case takes seconds on a phone at the facility, while the detail is still fresh, and that is the whole design. Reps get their own view of their own cases and commission, which is usually the first time they can see what they have earned without asking the office. A rep is pinned to themselves: they cannot log a case onto someone else, and they never see anyone else’s book.
Five fields: date, surgeon, facility, vendor, amount. The date and the pickers carry forward from the last line, the money computes itself from the rates you are on, and the batch submits from the keyboard. On a phone the case log stacks into a card per case with the money first, and it installs to the home screen and runs like an app rather than a bookmark. Two honest limits. It needs a signal to save — there is no offline mode. And a half-typed batch can be parked with Save for later, which keeps it on the server, so it comes back on whichever device you pick up next.
No, and yes. A rep sees their own cases and nobody else’s, enforced by the database rather than by a screen that hides things, so it holds however the data is reached. What each rep is owed sits on a back-office screen only the owner and the bookkeeper can open. That is a deliberate call: what the house owes is the house’s business. What a rep can see is their own work — every case they logged, the rep cut on each one, and their own year to date. A rep also cannot change what they were marked paid.
Two figures, both set the moment a case is logged. Net revenue is the case amount times that vendor’s rate. The rep’s cut is the rep’s rate times whichever base that rate is quoted on — the whole case, or the net revenue on it — because “2.5% of the case” and “50% of our net” are both real deals and the app stores which one each rep has. A rep can carry a different rate for a particular surgeon or facility, and the most specific rate wins. All of it runs in the database in exact decimal arithmetic, never floating point. Type a figure over any of it and yours is the one that stays.
A saved rate change applies to new cases, and its effective save time appears in rate history. Existing cases keep their captured terms and booked obligations. Automatic amounts use those captured terms when the case value changes; manual amounts stay fixed. Legacy or reassigned cases require review. Actual payouts and later reversals remain separate history, so changing a directory rate cannot rewrite money already paid.
Edits record who changed the case and when. The Activity log retains the before and after values; ordinary workspace users cannot edit or delete those entries. Deleting a case archives it, with a restore option. Changes to a case amount recalculate automatic commissions using the captured terms. Manual and legacy amounts stay fixed. Paid financial values require an explicit reversal before correction. If another person changes the case while you are editing, Syntra asks you to refresh and review the latest version.
One button on the Case Log. It exports exactly what the screen is showing — your filters, your sort, the archive view if that is what you are looking at — so the file and the page cannot disagree. It opens clean in Excel, with money as plain numbers like 1234.50 rather than formatted text that will not sum. A rep can export their own cases; the whole book is the owner’s and the bookkeeper’s. Reports also prints to PDF.
The optional $349 per month QuickBooks connection reads your year-to-date profit and loss and brings invoice and payment metadata into a review queue. Reports show your account categories and any difference from QuickBooks totals. Owners and bookkeepers confirm matches to a case; split payments and changed records require manual review. Syntra does not write to QuickBooks. The last successful sync remains visible if the provider is unavailable.
Syntra is designed for de-identified commercial case records, not patient records. Do not enter or upload patient names, MRNs, dates of birth or other protected health information. Import and text checks catch some identifying patterns; they cannot identify every sensitive detail. Document capture is optional. A captured photo or PDF is sent to the configured extraction provider as it was taken, and you can black out part of a case-sheet photo afterwards, before it is attached to the case; extracting only business fields does not remove sensitive information from the source document or from what was sent. Case-sheet attachments may be retained in private storage under the workspace retention policy. Contact us before considering a workflow that would require a Business Associate Agreement. See our privacy and security pages for the data flow. Privacy · Security.
Vercel hosts the site and the app. Supabase holds the database, sign-in and files. Stripe handles payment, and card numbers go straight to Stripe — we never see them. The assistant runs on Anthropic and its voice on ElevenLabs. The full list, and what each one touches, is on the privacy page. Inside the database, one distributorship cannot read another’s: row-level security is on in forced mode, so the database itself refuses rows from another workspace; each request drops to a non-privileged role with your workspace pinned for the length of one transaction; and any additional rule can only subtract access, never widen it. The test suite stands up a second workspace and proves it reads zero of the first one’s cases, and it checks every table carrying a workspace id, including ones nothing has written to yet. As for us: we open your workspace only to help you, and when we do it is stamped in your own Activity log with the name of the person who did it.
No to all three, and here is what is there instead. There is no single sign-on: each person signs in with their own email and password, and their role is enforced by the database rather than hidden in the interface. We hold no SOC 2 report and have not commissioned a third-party penetration test. There is no contractual uptime guarantee and no service-credit scheme, and our terms say that in those words rather than burying it. What does exist is written out on the security page, including how to report a vulnerability. If your reviewer needs something specific, ask — we will tell you whether it exists.
You cancel from the billing screen yourself. It stops future charges and your workspace stays open until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the workspace locks to the billing screen, and the case export locks with it — so pull your book out before the period ends. We delete nothing automatically: the workspace sits there so you can come back, and it is deleted when you ask us to delete it.
There is a message box inside the app. What you write goes to the founder, not a queue, and the reply lands back in the same thread with an unread mark so you do not have to go looking for it. You can also email hello@syntrahealthanalytics.com any time. We aim to reply within one business day, which is what our terms commit to.
Tell us what you run cases in today and how many reps carry a bag. The first meeting is a 30-minute conversation about your book — and whether the chase number is worth fixing.
The live demo is the real app on a sample distributorship's book, read-only. Open it and look anywhere.
